Giovanni Tomasi is a sophomore in the Elliott School and is majoring in International Affairs with a focus on Conflict and Security. Originally a native of Coventry, CT, he left the liberal bastion of the North East to go the Nation’s Capital to be in the midst of the fight against liberalism and the progressive march toward tyranny.
The son of a naturalized American citizen father, Giovanni has firsthand the attainment of the American dream of owning a business through sheer dedication and tireless effort. Giovanni has taken this message to heart and continues to promote the free enterprise system of Capitalism that has and continues to make the United States the greatest economic world power. He is also passionate about promoting a strong national defense, 2nd Amendment rights, traditional family values, and a limited and fiscally responsible federal government.
In addition to serving as the Treasurer of GW Young America’s Foundation, Giovanni is also involved as a Cadet in Army ROTC, a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, an advocate and member of GW Veterans, as well one of three Undergraduate Elliott School SA Senators. He looks forward to continue promoting the message of conservatism on GW and promoting the cause of Liberty that is society’s highest virtue.
